Emergency Flashers
I've searched the forum and Google but I must be missing something simple, can anyone give me the trick to removing the emergency flasher switch from my 65 F100, I've read there's more than one type of switch but mine is located to the right of the steering wheel, mounted in the dash with the little light to the left. I can unscrew the bezel but it won't fit over the ****, the **** turns but doesn't seem to be unscrewing and I can't find a release button like the head light swithch has, there is a little slot in the back of the **** but pushing a screw driver into it doesn't seem to help and I don't want to force anything.

Just an fyi to anyone interested, I figured this out, to remove the "****" from the emergency flasher switch, there's a small slot near the backside of the "****" push a small bladed screw driver into the slot while pulling the "****" straight out. Then you can unscrew the bezel and remove the switch from the backside.
