I just recently got a faster/camber tool to set my front end but I'm having a hard time finding the charts that list the number of flats to be turned on the WA-25 tool I have. I have the alignment specs but without the front wheel alignment chart providing the degrees and how many flats to turn the tool I have is useless.
So my question is, does anyone know where to find said charts or have access to one for 1978 ford/mercury?
I got a snap on version of the tool as the rotunda version was impossible find on short notice. It appears identical to the rotunda version with a part number of T69P-3000-A.
I assume since this is a snap on version of the ford one for ford/mercury/Lincoln faster/camber I assume the same charts can be used. If not the I just wasted $29 on this tool.
I just bought a ford alignment chart but its for 1975 - 1976 body on frame vehicles. Question I have is would the charts still be useable for a 1977 - 1978 vehicle?
Only reason I ask is cause I am being delayed on the last few coponents coming inand I got this chart and if it will work I will be set otherwise I will have to keep looking for the correct chart or fork out more money to buy a caster/camber gauge.
You might check out Motorcraft.com as they seem to have quite a bit of downloadable older specs and charts---I use it for their replacement pigtail leads and connectors.
Failing that I'd call an independent alignment shop and see if they'll share a bit of info with your particular year and model. About half the time you'll find someone willing to share a bit of their knowledge, as long as you don't want to talk all day!
