advice on injectors needed

Hello all! I'm looking for some advice. I have replaced my totalled OBS with a 2000 F350 7.3l. It's only upgrades are no cat, DIY free flow intake, egt and boost gauges, and a Power Hungry 6 pos chip w/ stock, 65 tow, 80 DD, 100 perf, 140 extreme & high idle. The injectors are stock and seem to be starting to have some minor "stutter" at low rpm. My '95 7.3l has Rosewood stage 1 injectors. If I replace the stock ones in my '00 with the single shots in my '95, I know I have to have my tunes changed. My question is should I do this, or wait on some split shot stage 1's? Does anyone have any experience with the differences between the 2 options?

I would go with the singleshot stage 1's. You already have them and am sure you liked them in your OBS. With the intercooled system of the '00 and revised tuning, you should see improvements over what you had seen with the OBS. If you were happy with your old combo, you would be smiling all over again with your new one. I really don't see any reason to go with the splits and spending the extra cash. Proper tuning updates would be needed, either way you chose, to get the most benefit.

Thanks Mueckster. That's kinda what I had in mind. There's not much difference between the OBS with stage 1's and Power Hungry's 100hp perf tune, and the '00 with stock injectors and the tunes I have now. How would the engine run if I changed the injectors and didn't change the programming? Somebody told me it would idle rough but work fine otherwise.
