My 65 Mustang has the green dot shift pattern. If I swap in a 67+ C-4 valve body and the corresponding shifter bucket, I have a regular P-R-N-D-2-1 shift pattern.

Is the COM and C-6 the same?
Correct on the C4, but COM and C6 aren't even close to being the same. COM valve body is a little cube shaped valve body about 3-4" square while the C6 is a flat "boot shaped" valve body. You can interchange some C6 like C4 but that's about it.
