89 f250 front spring question

so i have an 89 f250 and i put in a dana 60 from a 350, went in no problems been riding around like that for about 6 months now. i used everything from the 350 including the springs

heres my question, my front end sits too high now by about 2 inches past level and it drives me crazy the way it looks. i really dont want to lift the rear as i have no interest in putting bigger tires on it and plan to tow things with it.

heres my question, is it possible to run the old ttb springs with the 60? i know they will bolt up but ive always read to run the ones for the solid axle. i want my truck to sit about level or even with a slight nose down rake like stock was.

thanks, dave

F350's have a bigger "lift blocks" in the rear. If you get those it should get you sitting right again.

You "can" use f250 springs, but you might as well just run no suspension.
They are actually a HIGHER spring rate than F350 springs by over 1,200lbs

like bashby said, use the f350 4" block in place of the F250 2" blocks to bring the rear up

you could try cutting a coil or a half coil just dont do it with a blow torch and know that it will affect the spring rate

Pssst......4wd F250s and F350s used leaf springs in the front. Only the 2wds used coils. F150's had coils on both 4wd and 2wd.

Interesting. Didn't know the F250 negative arch springs had a higher spring rate than the F350 ones.

if you are going to be running a commercial snow plow, leave the 250 springs in it for the added support. otherwise switch to the 350 springs for the smoother ride.
