Problem with brakes and steering.
So i was out at my ranch and drove around a little out there. Nothing major done it 100 times before. So i come back to the ranch house for and hour or so and then im about to leave.
Once i started my truck i felt a pulse coming form the brake pedal and a whining noise. As i went to move i noticed there was a whine in the steering and slight vibration (nothing really more than normal). the steering whine and the brake problem got worse as u turned the wheel more and the harder you pressed. I then noticed that even if you pushed the brake pedal all the way down it would not stop quickly like it should. I drove it around a filed for a while and the brakes became better and the pulsing lessened.
I was told thats common for air in the lines. but its on the steering and brakes and i was not working on the truck or anything. Also i checked fluids and they where just below. I did fill them. another thing i noticed was you can see the vortex in the fluid if you look in the steering fluid reservoir while the truck is running.
You guys have had all the right answer so far please help a brother out.

I agree with Benny.
The vortex in the fluid will pull air into the fluid and then through the pump
and give you that effect. When you flush out the system draw down the level in the
tank so that you can see the screen. I bet you will find a lot of crap on it. If you do
find crap you will need to seal off the lines and remove the tank and clean it out,
After that I would add the filter kit to the system for a few thousand miles to pick up
any more that may of gotten missed.
Then the question will be. What made the junk?
