Actually its a 4X2 vs a 4X4. Just a technical thing. I dont mean to flame so dont take it the wrong way.
Do as suggested and post the axle code listed on the white tag on the drivers door.

Lets get a little more technical. 4x4 and 4x2 are sizes for planks of wood. 4wd and 2wd seem about right. Of course I'm just not picking at ya as well lol.

To take it one step further the 4X4 is also called a post at times and a 4X2 is called a Stringer.

And 4x8 is called a sheet.....but I havent seen any trucks with that stickered on the side lol. Wonder if the OP found his axle ratio yet.
