I think to survive down here on dirt roads (no gravel here) they need 8. Plenty of 70's fords pickups here. I'll try to get a pic of the new 'old' falcons. I'm in the Argentine equivalent of Ottumwa, IA. Nothin but corn and beans.

Their web site says between 1750 and 2500 rpm. Off to Mendoza tomorrow - wine country...

@ 2500 rpm 346 lb/ft means 165 HP...not bad at all out of a 3.2.
