Has anyone out there converted their fog lights to HID? I had my headlights done and I really love the brightness of them now. I think it's more of an asthetic thing but I want to convert the fogs too. I'm just not sure of the wattage I should be aware of. I found a website to help with the headlights but not one for the fogs. Probably not much different but I know there is a wealth of knowledge here on the forum I can always draw from.
Thanks!

Wow, great looking rig! Just my style! Thanks 04XLTRUNNER. So I'm sure it wasn't too complex but I had to lean on a friend whos pretty handy with the auto/electrical when it came to my HID headlights. I haven't seen a You tube video on installing HID fogs but if you or anyone has a hint or two I'd appreciate it!

The ballast plugs into the factory connection. The hid bulb plugs into the ballast with the 2 smaller connections. Goes right in the housing like a factory bulb would. Really simple. It just looks complicated. There is no cutting or splicing. Everything is plug n play.
Headlight conversion is pretty simple. Kit should come with a wiring harness, connect to your battery, connect your hid ballasts, mount the ballasts and ground them, then install the hid bulbs in place of the stock bulbs and connect them to the ballasts that you already wired in/mounted. One of your stock plugs will connect into the harness to control highs/lows.
I was using cheaper china kits before, but switched to retro. Installed 3 of these kits so far since last summer, seems like a better quality. Not sure about longevity yet though.
