Just wondering if anybody makes a decent sealed beam headlight which would replace the current setup in my 87 F250 (plexiglass lens). I was driving in a snowstorm last month and the plexiglass lamp covers diffuses the light in such a way that it was almost impossible to see the road through the snow. I changed vehicles with a friend who had regular sealed beam headlights and the amount of reflected light was greatly reduced, much better visiblity. I was just wondering if anybody had discovered this problem beside myself, my eyes are still good for a 40-something guy. A replacement system would be great but I really want it to match the way the headlamps are integrated into the body on the 87-88 pickups. thanks, bob
I'm still dealing with the diffusion of the headlights in the snow; the fog lamps would help but probably won't help as much as getting a new lens cover (glass) or really big sealed beams. Thanks, bob
