New play toy

Well I just bought me a 1993 F250 7.3 diesel 4x4 regular cab manual trans.

this is my first diesel to own. what all should i check or do for a tune up or just to check out? truck has 230k miles and the previous owner only had it a month and has no clue about the maintenance on the truck. the truck is a mud truck that is street legal....20 inches of lift on 44" tsl's.

Also, what are some performance mods I can do to the truck...seems like it has good power and he thought that it may have bigger injectors in it but didnt know for sure....it is the turbo model 7.3.

Do they make a big exahust kit for it? It has a single stack in the bed now but I would like to run dual stacks.

sorry to be longwinded, just excited about the truck...any help or opinions will be appreciated.

www.idiperformance.com Should be your first stop if youre looking for performance. Hard to say what to do without knowing whats been done. Also depends on what you want out of it. Do you have a power goal?

haha nice.you'll have to post up some pics.
well your first plan of action (mine sure would be anyway) would be to make sure i had the lowest r&p i could find for both axles.hopefully around 5.38ish bare minimum.that would just get you back to about my gearing around 3.80ish effective.a nice sweet spot between 3.55 and 4.10's.
go even lower if possible.them are heavy tires.just have to search the d60 and sterling 10.25 options.pick the lowest that match i guess is all ya can do.
it might have already been done by the po,but most of the time it's overlooked and your left with a slug due to cost.this would be my priority.you could do all kinds of stuff trying to get more power from the engine, but nothing would compare to this if she's still sporting a 3.55 or 4.10 r&p.
