So just curious from the super duty lover out there as I am not too knowledgeable on these bigger trucks. I picked up this 2001 F350 Super Duty Dually with the triton 6.8L V10 from a local auction. The entire truck is pretty much mint with a few little nicks and scratches here and there. Truck has 79k. So my question is, are these trucks popular with the diesels out there? I see a lot of demand for the 6.0 and 7.3 Diesel.
What could you see yourself paying for such a truck in todays market? Also the truck is for sale so if anyone is interested then thats a possibility as well!
In my area that truck would go for $6000-$8000 probably close to the 8000 range because it is straight now many like that here in my area. I believe alot of people are interested in the V10s alot don't want a diesel for whatever reason I love our V10 alot. 79k is pretty low mileage too so that is a big help for selling.

I was hoping to pull 10+ in my area? Is that too unreasonable with that low mileage. The truck itself runs fantastic and is in great shape. Reason I ask is because I actually paid close to 8 at auction. Here in MI I see these trucks a lot but have no idea where to start, its hard for me to bluebook because it has lots of extras and Im not sure what they are.
Appreciate your response though. Hopefully it does'nt fall through as a break even situation but we shall see.
Usually people won't pay more just because of extras unless you are lucky. $10k is possible but I kinda doubt it. I would put it for sale at $10k with the price being negotiable and see what happens who knows you make get close to $10k.

In my area gassers are popular, espically for horse boarders around my area. They prefer the gas since they don't drive it them much and the exhaust fumes are not an issue. I could see 10k if its clean. The truck looks to be in good shape but, I see snow on it we all know snow means salt, how does the underside look?
