Black cloud injectors

Stage 1.5 175/146
Single Shot Injectors (Mild Street/Tow) Converts your split shot injection system to a more efficient single shot injection with these performance injectors and Swamps Conversion Chip (Sold Separately) (needed to run this single shot injector in a split-shot, 1999-2003 truck).

The 175/146 in the 1999-2003 7.3L Ford Powerstroke has the ability to flow more fuel than other company's "Stage 2" injector, but due to the efficiency of the single shot event combined with a very small nozzle, more power and more economy can be had similutaneously. Gains of 30 to 40 HP are normal with this injector. This is a great Tow Injector. We recommend this style injector for the 1999-2003 Ford Superduty owner who 'works' his truck, tows heavy loads, wants a mild performance increase, but will not be entering competitive events with an intent on winning. This injector along with our Swamps Conversion Tuning has increased the mpg on over a dozen Superduty trucks from 12-14 mpg to 16-18 mpg consistently. We actually have customers obtaining an "honest" 20mpg with crew cab 4x4 trucks.

Has anybody used these and seen this kind of inrease in MPG?

Don't buy injectors that flow more fuel because you think you will get better fuel economy. Going to single shot injectors might get you a little better fuel economy, but since they flow more fuel, you will only see any gains if you drive like a grandpa. Put your foot in it and the fuel economy goes the other direction.

I doubt people are replacing shiny new injectors with stage 1.5 injectors... so I would expect an economy gain when replacing tired injectors. My old stocker splits with 260K miles got almost 20 MPG. It's more a matter of condition of the vehicle and driving habits... not magic sticks.
