Injectors
Do old injectors hurt mpgs and power and how much of a drop in mpgs and horsepower. I have 160,000mi on the clock and nothing has ever been done to the injectors or return lines ever, except for a new IP and reg maintenance things like injector cleaner and fuel filter change.

If you have run fuel additives all its life and taken care of the engine otherwise as well as running it on a regular basis the injectors should be ok, but not great. A lot of people replace them every 100,000 miles just to be safe.
Yes they do drop mpg and hp when they go bad. They could easily lose 15 hp and 2 mpg if they were bad. You could get them pop and bleed off tested, but if you do make sure that the place isnt going to charge you for doing it (I made that mistake, ony to end up replacing them).
If you replace the injectors, replace the return lines and tees as well. I got mine at www.mwfi.com
