It won't be as sensitive to it but I would stick by the RV/marine paper. Also I like this clear adaptor for my dump hose to know when to call it done. 3" Valve Hose Adapter - Valterra T1026-1 - Sewer Fittings & Adapters - Camping World
Also get a short but good quality hose for the purpose. I've found a lot of the dump station hoses have seen better days and will spray water everywhere so it's nice to not have it spray you while doing your dirty work. You can buy hoses made for it but not required by any means. Ramble 4' Hook Up Hose - Teknor Apex Co 4ft Ramble - Hoses, Reels & Fittings - Camping World
What I will do when i feel the tank is flushed is to shut the drain valve but leave the water going for a minute. Any remaining "particulates" will get sloshed around and will flush out next time.
Looks nice, after spending 10 days in Florida, we have decided we need a larger rv. The only things I think we need are: some addition room in the bedroom, and a wardrobe closet for our clothes. I don't want to go over 30 feet, as we mostly go to old state parks and their sites are a little on the tight side. We had a 33 foot 5er and it was too big most of the time.
Oh..the truck pulled like a beast, should have traded my old 454 years ago. Mileage was about twice what I used to get.
Ive always used angel soft from walmart. I put a cap full of clothes softener down. Toilet. Aint had a problem. If you ever did. Just dump a couple bags of ice and go for a little drive then go dump that ice will break it loose.
Wow, very nice! I like the layout. That's a lengthy TT and lightweight too. I have 31' 5th wheel and the first several months here's what I immediately learned while out camping. All this is obvious but at the time while first starting out it was not.
- Extra long sewer hose extension w/adapters
- 30amp Electrical cord extension with right adapters
- wheel chocks & leveling pads
- water pressure fitting and extra hose
- Big *** outdoor mat so kids don't track in dirt and other crap
- Make sure propane tanks are filled before heading out
- Bring all my tools, not just what I think I'll need
- Check tire pressure, monitor trailer tires
- Extra bulbs for trailer lights
- Don't ignore low tree branches!
I learned that same trick regarding the ice down the toilet. Sometimes the sensors (if you have them) get caked up with crap.
Needless to say the list never stops but the accumulation will eventually decrease.
I have an outdoor circuit breaker box and water pump station. I keep it plugged in all winter. Last summer our central air died so I slept out in the camper with AC.
