Coolant reservior cap

Coolant reservior cap
I juast watch a video done by powerstrokehelp.com and he sugested a replacing the cap on the coolant reservior with a $5 part from advanced auto (stant brand, I belive) however when I read a review on that part, people say it is crap. Any suggestions?

I always kinda thought that his theory mistook a symptom for a cause. The caps had issues BECAUSE coolant system pressure spiked. The cap issues did not cause a head failure.
That said- I have no idea what the failure rate is of OE cap.
