When i search cylinder heads for a 429/460 for 1970 on rock auto it comes up with a set of marshall cylinder heads for 390 bucks per head incuding the 50 dollor core. would these really be a recreation of 1970 429 heads? or just a smog 1978-79 head.

what i was trying to ask was are they just the same specs as high horsepower heads as the 68-70 heads. because locally around here i cant find those castings
yep. Small chamber, non hardened valve seats. etc. They are the heads. That's why the core charge. If you had a set of those heads you would send them back and they would rebuild them and sell them to someone else.
