Power Steering flush

Anyone have the procedure for a PS flush using Mobil1?

Never done it but could you take the return line off the pump and start the truck and keep pouring new in tell it comes out the line, then shut the truck off and fill back up.

I thought of that...but the return line has a poppet? inside after removing the line.
I didn't want to lose anything. I decided to remove the fluid from the tank, replace with new, run the system turning wheels left to right, remove the fluid from the tank and repeat the process until I had gone through 3 quarts of Mobil 1. The job is now done and seems to have made a world of difference. The flush procedure is sure alot easier on the 99-2003 PSD with Hydra Boost....Thanks for your reply.

You could disconnect the return line from the gear box, then install an old return line with the pump end cut off, and pump it out with that.
