I'm gonna have my egr and oil cooler replaced because of white smoke, slight degas leak and slight coolant loss, and wet oily
egr valve and manifold. But another sympton I've noticed is faster than usual warm-up. It used to take 5-8 minutes steady driving for water temp to reach 180's. Now it takes about 3 minutes. HG's ? Any thoughts ?
Thanks,
You could have had blocked coolant flow in the egr cooler. Now that the egr cooler is a good one, the coolant is now flowing through it properly. But this time it is flowing through out the engine so the heated coolant is moving thorugh out the engine, not just staying in the egr cooler.
