drive shaft conversion
I have a 1960 F100 that I have put a 5.0 mustang engine with a C-4 transmission. The original transmission in the truck was a 4 speed in which the drive line attached to the tranny at a U-joint. I would like to know if it would be best to use the stock driveline from the truck (two piece) and have a yolk welded on to fit the C-4 or if I could use something different that would work. I am looking at $250 to $350 to have the modification done ie welding, yolk, balanced. Any input would help.
