battery light on dash

I am new to this so please bear with me. This my third F-350 PSD. On second installed full bullet proof diesel, ran great, just sold it.
This truck F-350 PSD two batteries, two alternators. after sitting 30 hours, checked cold, both batteries @ 12.2, start up and check, both batteries @ 13.2, drove 15 miles to shop clean all battery connections, pull ECM fuse, reattach and start, check batteries @ 14.2V. and lite still lit??? at this point just about lost. Can anyone please tell me what to look for. Top alt. has 3 wire plus. A thread I read said 2 wire??
Any help greatly appreciated

Sorry, not familiar with two alternator set ups but I'll give you a bump.

thanks for your help. Went to O'Reilly's they said both batteries were good.

Might wanna try disconnecting both batteries for 20 minutes or so and see if it clears. Did the auto parts store test the alternators?

when the battery light comes on it usually means there is a break or low voltage in the circuit.

One or both alternators. I would advise a bench test of each alternator.

Using the machine and testing the charging circuit on the truck in this case will not tell which is bad as the other alternator is picking up enough of the load to provide the voltage as you indicated in your posting.
