Need help with some codes
My friend stopped by and we put AE on his truck. im still tiring to figure it out.
First, How do i convert live diagnostics to view ?
Here is a list of a few things i did and need help under standing.
His truck is a 01, 7.3 10.000 on rebuild. His truck runs good but it has a few codes.
It dose have a bad uptube leak that i told him his truck will get crappy mileage until its fixed
It has an after market air filter, 4" turbo back and stage one injectors. No tuner or gauges yet. I told him to get some gauges first.
He did say that they put in auto part store under valve cover harnesses.

In the switch test, it looks like you didn't cycle any of those switches during the test.
On the CCT if there was an issue pointed towards in the codes for UVCH GP's it's possible it could cause a balance fault on 5. Did you perform a BUZZ test, how did they all sound?
Looks like a possible issue with a loose UVCH on the DS if you have cleared them and these came back.

I cleared them as he left for home 2 hours away. he said he would let me know if it comes back.
Even though i have had AE for over a year, my brother in law had it for over 8 months.
Im still learning on what to check and how.
I know there is a way to view the live info i saved. I don't remember how i did it last time..

I wouldn't expect the truck to run well with the above listed items. Fix those issues and then start troubleshooting any issues. Stage one (single shot) injectors and no tuner makes for a rough running truck.

Thats what i told him when they were putting it together. He said he didn't want to pull it apart again.
