I dont. Mine has the manual *****. After checking again this morning, it does blow out somewhat, but its very weak. I know it will be weaker on mix mode than if it were on full defrost, but I have to set my fan speed to max before you can even feel it blowing through the defrost vents up top, whereas the floor portion of the mix is fine on any speed. I should have mentioned I have the manual controls. Also it is an 05 FX4 if that matters.
Plus 2 on blend door. It is electronically actuated and is well known to crap out. I have had at least three replaced on my '06. Never doen it myself, but believe it not to be difficult to replace yourself. does not take the Ford shop techs long at all to complete. all in knowing the secrets I guess.
Would not hold my breath, but was told once (by dealer) to try disconnecting the battery to reset the system prior to replacement. This potentially could allow the actuator to reset itself. Still think you will need a replacement, but no harm in giving this a try.

They are hard to see since the power pedal motor/plug is in the way. not the easiest to get in there with your fingers and a wrench let alone a camera! The bottom motor controls air to panel/defrost/and floors.
