Running issue... Plz help
61 f100 223 auto. Truck had been sitting so I changed fuel pump(was leaking) fuel filter, rubber lines, and got out as much of the gas as possible. I also rebuilt carb and changed over to a paper filter from the oil bath. Truck will start with one pump on throttle, then wants to die if I don't give it more throttle. Runs good with choke just cracked open just to idle up the motor, but it idles too high like that. I have noticed the gas is not totally clear it's a little yellow but not bad. Also noticed that when its idling low the fuel pumps barely pumping into the fuel filter. One other thing is if I put it in reverse with it idling a little high with choke on it dies once loads on. But in drive it seems to be ok. I don't know what to do. Please help
