Reverse lights stuck on
Reverse lights stuck on
2006 F350 6.8 reverse lights are staying on with truck shut off. I pulled the fuse for the reverse lights and they are still on. Doesn't make sense.
Seems like it back feeding from somewhere. I took a voltage reading at the reverse light pin on the 7 pin trailer connector and its showing a little over 10 volts and the battery is fully charged showing 12.5 volts.
I guess the PCM triggers the relay to activate the reverse lights. But wouldn't pulling the fuse kill the power?
It must be shorted to +12 somewhere after the fuse.
Any ideas? Maybe a wiring diagram if possible?
Thanks
Dan
