I take it you already tried replacing the bulbs to no avail. So did you check your fuse? (#28 10A fuse) The trouble could be coming from the digital sensor. I would also check the grounds and connections around the lights and harness. Reply back for further assistance.
If its not the lights or the fuse check the reverse relay on the tranny.On wifes it went twice,but first I checked the lights and the fuse to no avil.I just followed the reverse light trail.
And as monsta said check all the grounds..

On an old standard I had the switch was right on hte outside of the tranny. Real easy to service (and get screwed up). Is it hangin' on the outside of the 4R100 also?
Glad we can help, just check the plug and if that looks good than replace it(the relay)We are lucky that our trucks sit so high its easy to get under them to tinker.
