I know nobody really gives a crap on these forums, but really? Really? Are there really that many people who have been speaking english all their lives, but still don't know the difference between your and you're, there and their, sale and sell, to and too.... The list goes on, but I just can't continue because I'm in pain from pulling my hair completely out!!!! Sorry, but I just have to vent....

I know, right? Those people are almost as annoying as people who take up two or three parking spots.

BTW, nice truck in your avatar.
Thanks.
Seems like a lot of people are using the phrase, "I know, right?" lately.... And have you watched any CNBC, FOX news, or CNN lately?? When asked a question everybody starts their sentences with So.......

All of the above- yes, and agree. Also we should raise expectations.
I didn't intend to start a thread on the state of education. I was just venting my frustration... Type AAAAAAAAAAA!
Frankly, I think most know the difference in those words, but don't care..
Oh yeah, another one when people are discussing tires; thread-tread
I dont get as bent out of shape as I used to about spelling but these days the thing that drives me nuts is that no one uses punctuation anymore they just start another thought and sentence without any regard to ending the last one it really drives me freaking nuts trying to keep up with what they are saying Im sure if spelling grinds your gears then you must be frustrated with the lack of punctuation these days Right
Its a good day in a good life in a great country when forum members have little else to complain about other than another's improper use of English grammar and spelling. It comes across as insensitive, rude, arrogant and elitist simply because we should not assume everyone has had the same educational opportunities so many seem to think are afforded to everyone in every place.
Yeah there's a 100 or more gaffes in nearly every post but as long as said gaffe doesn't skew or confuse information being sought or offered one needs to maybe relax, move along and find another topic that's not already been done to death?!?!
Feel free to grade this contribution as you will---I'm heading out to live my life and not get caught up in minor concerns!

Tried to rep ya sir but I got the message. I think this time would be better spent helping little old ladies across the street.

Seriously ?
It has little do do with education . But since you brought it up , most of us learned spelling & punctuation in grade school (provided to everyone ). With spell checks & such today, what you end up with is lazy people . I don't care to perpetuate that .
it has little 2 do with education but since u brought it up
