I'm aware of that, thx tho. But the question isn't about the engagement if the hubs, it's about the condition of the wheel bearing hub causing it to pull while engaged. But, the last time I had to use the 4wd, it worked flawlessly. Oh well. I'm happy.

Well,, it's fixed!!!! I replaced the PVH,,, which wasn't putting out any vacuum, So then,,, I replaced one lockout cause it was sticking and not unlocking. That seemed to work. But it ended up still giving me problems. The other old lockout started sticking so I replaced it. They both had over half a million miles on them. The driver side continued to not function with the esof. I checked all the vacuum lines n everything checked out so I was scratching my head. After thinking about it,,, I decided to take a blow gun to the vacuum fitting on the hub with the lockout removed,,,, the freakin channel that feeds the hub with vacuum was clogged with grease. After cleaning it out,,, it actually works like it should. It locks n unlocks as it should.

So I thought I'd let everyone know that my problem was grease being vacuumed into the hub from the lockout and clogging the hub. It vacuumed down, but the vacuum wasn't reaching the lockout. It's a good day.

Was it over greased in the past?
How ever it happened you got it fixed. That is what counts.
