Working on stripping down my 56 interior but know I have a few holes from odds and ends to fill in, such as a radio, a few dash ***** holes that don't belong etc...... Never done that....is it hard and what do I need to do? jim
I'm assuming you're talking about metal holes since it's one of the older trucks. If so, you're only option is to cut and weld. Here's a good "how to" for patch panels that should work the same for fixing your dash.
We've customized our dash and had to fill in old holes and cut out new. You'll need a mig to do this. Some of the holes were small enough that Steve just built it in then used the grinder to smooth the front. Others he used patch panels that he made then I followed with a body filler.
