I put in new light sockets on the rear of my 78 F-150, & now with the hazards on there is 1 blub that does not work the drivers side rear the others all work. The brake & turn lights both work, the sockets were so bad I did not get a good check before I put in the new sockets. If it was the hazard flasher none of them should work I would think.
You're positive that the driver side rear turn signal works? The hazards and turn signals share the same filaments in the bulbs. Are you also positive that the driver side front hazard works? If both of those work, then the driver side rear hazard has to work.
Something's not adding up, so you've left out some information, made an assumption, or the wiring has been modified.
Well I pulled the steering wheel & checked the turn signal switch, if I move the wires around with the hazards on the rear light comes on. But when I put the steering wheel back on it quits working again. So I guess I am going to change the turn signal switch, it has a tilt wheel & the only place I can find it is LMC Truck. Has any one used a turn sigal switch from them.
And I did not put the wrong info. or make an assumption, just did not dig deep enough the first time. (MY BAD) I like to read the fourms & ask ?'s some times I even learn some thing that I did not already know about. I mean I have only been playing with Fords since I was a 12 yr old kid & I am not a old man at 58 but I still don't know every thing.
Thanks Bill
