After reading countless posts about modifications,
Whether it be a cummins swap, hemi swap, auto to manual tranny swap, great welding skills and fab, cab swaps, etc...Ive decided that Id be happy with just the garage/barn space you guys have.
Carry on with all the great write ups and pics. Alot of guys/gals here have some amazing talent
Uh....I have NO garage space. I litterly have been doing my freshtomodding in my yard and in my parking space on the road. No joke. It can be done. I have over 1300 pics so far that can prove no need for a garage, just some good tarps and weather with a bit of fab skills and the proper tools of course.
I have the Big Sky Garage and weather permitting, you really don't need one. I find determination and motivation to be the most important factors. I have friends with garages and my truck is still farther along then some of the projects they have had for years lol
I have a small 2 car garage that I do my work in also. Right now I have my 75 supercab project going on and the wife's van outside which she isn't happy about.
I find determination and motivation to be the most important factors,,,,,,,,,,getter done even if it takes along time,,,,,,This site and the good folks of this site are the leading factors of me going forward a little at a time thankyou
I do have an old block dairy barn i converted to a small shop , but i have done a lot of them in the back yard . When i pull the engine i do have to leave the over head door open so i can push it back to get the engine out. I have a Ferguson tractor with a loader bucket on front to lift and haul engines and other heavy parts around with. I use it a lot and could not do much with out it at my age , 71 , with out doing some body damage , mine , not the truck. Plan to keep doing it as long as i can though.__
