So as i have been researching and saving cash for repairs, my truck doesn't like to start after i have warmed it to operating temps. I have come to the UNOFFICIAL conclusion, I have either bad injectors, FICM, or high pressure oil leak. Or, i have all three
Yea me neither. He wants people to ship trucks to him, good business idea, but i like to talk face to face with MY mechanic. But to answer your question RideDiesel88, Its been SLOWLY getting worse. The starts are harder and harder unless i have her plugged in, in this colder weather especially. Even if i warm her up before i take off its still rough until i get into er a little bit. I have an SCT tuner using canned tunes, but until i give er more throttle she runs like a bag of poop. So its injectors, ficm, and hpol. Maybe one, maybe two, maybe a combo of all 3?
You need some gauges for future reference. Helps narrow stuff down. I got gauges all over the place. you cant have too many gauges. They help me sleep GOOD at night! haha
SGII with 6.0l program will cover more than you can think of. Then i got a fuel pressure guage, trans temp and boost psi gauge. SGII doesnt read fuel press or EGTs. Im looking into coolant psi gauge to tap into coolant filter and oil psi to tap into filter housing or somethin. My point is, you cant have too many gauges.
For testing you need to set it back to stock and remove the tune
for testing. And I also think HPOP leak.
Have a look in the tech folder for the issue
that you dealing with.
