Calling them in the morning. I'll let ya know. Since we are on bed talk....Anyone know where to find the front bed cross member for a 1966 8' flareside? The middle and rear are good, however, the front on mine has both ends rotted. Looks tough to fabricate because of the twist the channel has at the ends.
Purchased a set of fenders for the 65 flareside and very disappointed in the gage of the sheet metal, bout the thickness of a beer can, can't apply very much pressure on the fender. Subsequently came across a very reasonable body/weld shop who quoted price for restoring the original fenders cheaper than cost for replacements. Imagine of particular concern with the step being subject to weight and heavy use? If decide on going with replacement may want to call supplier. Found best to avoid direct metal to metal contact between step, fender, and bed due to rust.

C4TZ-8310610-A .. Front Crossmember-Use with 8' Flareside & 9' 1961/66 F350 Flareside Beds) / Obsolete
Applications: 1961/72 F100/350 / No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
Check the cowl vent in front of the windshield and inside the floor vents for leaves and straw. They may have accumulated and caused rust in both areas. I used a ruler to push the leaves from the cowl to the vent then vacuumed them out. You will need to take the vent dampers off to get all the leaves and mulch.
That was the only rust on my truck. It is repairable.

well i havn't had alot of time lately to do anything between work and side work. and getting my other car ready for car craft. The truck does have the 8ft bed and the 4 speed. I havn't had time to get it into the garage to do some vacuuming and dissasembly to see all the rust. as far as ive seen there is only acouple spots but are actually pretty bad but fixable for sure.
Sorry no pictures yet my phone with the pictures broke and havn't been back up north yet.
