BEDPLATE
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS CAB OFF BEDPLATE,WHAT IS THE PROBLEM AND WHAT TO LOOK FOR,I Have a 08,f350 almost 35k,tuned and deleted.

you have to take the cab off if you have a leak and it is the bed plate.

Basically the bed plate is a design from navistar that split the bottom end of the motor into a couple of sections.

thanks,so I have to keep checking oil pan for leaks,engine comes out I guess,what if any warrenties are on that if yuor over the years,or does it matter and dailer has to fix

You really don't have to check it unless you notice it. In over 76K miles mine does not leak.

thanks for the info I change oil every 5k so I'll check it on every change
