1977 Australian XLT Chrome Windscreen Moulds
Guys, I am awaiting the arrival of these stainless steeel/chrome windscreen moulds that cover the rubbers. My '77 F100 is an XLT soI am presuming that at some point in its life bother front and rear glass has been replaced and the moulds tossed.
How are they correctly mounted to the truck? Does it involve specific windscreen rubbers? I have heard the US rubbers differ to the Australian rubbers in this respect.

D7TZ-1003110-B .. Windshield Weatherstrip ~ Use with one piece Flexible Plastic Chrome Windshield Reveal Moulding.
1977 F100/350 from serial number O80,001 / 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco.
1973/79 all: The moulding(s) are inserted into the groove of the weatherstrip, the weatherstrip is then installed on the windshield, then the windshield is installed in the truck.
Blimey! This is a two "bloke" job. One pressing the w/shield up against the outside of the cab, while the other works the string from the inside of the cab. Lotsa fun (not!), been there, down that...once.
The next time, I took the truck to an autoglass shop, had them do it.
