Hey folks, I have a 2012 Lariat fairly well loaded out. However, the so called "auto" window button on the drivers door works auto in down only. Just curious if something is wrong with mine because it is will not do auto for raising the window. One would think that on a $59K truck the auto would work both ways. I know on my Expedition it works both ways. Just wondering if mine was faulty before I go to the dealer. Thanks!!
I dunno if you have auto up. It was discussed as a possible add a while back.
By the way, if you bought a $21,000 f150 XL and the window switch didn't work right, would it be ok? Where's the cut off for perfection? $20,000, $40,000? I'm curious because people use this line a lot and honestly if something is new and doesn't work right, would it matter if it cost less?

I always told my customers. I dont care if your vehicle cost $60K or 1k I will give you the same respect and same quality repairs as how I would want mine. And trust me im picky.
As for op im not sure if they have it auto up and down.I would think service department could answer that.

It's not a question of working right. It's the set of features and add-ons you come to expect when you spend more money. It would be perfectly alright for the $21,000 f150 to not include an auto-up (or down) feature.
Like any feature on a $60k or $20k vehicle, it's up to the purchaser to verify what those features are before making the purchase. If the product features don't live up to buyer expectations, don't buy it.
