Automatic Window Question

Anyone know of a way to add or retro-fit auto windows both Up & Down to Driver and Passenger side?

I know a lot of the imports have up and down auto's for both sides. Wouldn't mind adding this convenient option on my superduty if it is possible.

As far as I know Ford is the only one who makes switches that work with our trucks, and they don't offer anything like that. I would love it if they did though. I don't even really care about auto up, but I would really like to have auto down for all 4 of my door windows.

Couldn't you simply run the wiring from the driver's side over to the pass. side? Just splice it into the pass. side only at the drivers location?

I have seen a conversion for a Ford Taurus SHO that allows passenger auto down windows, All that was needed was the proper Ford Switch and add in a second auto down module to that window. The link is the instructions for the SHO, but i'm sure it could be the same basic concept for the 250's and 350's

Really? I've never seen auto "UP". Always thought that was a safety concern. Auto "DOWN" on all would make sense though.

Nope, a lot of them have auto up now as well. They just put a pressure sensor in or something like that so it stops if it sees too much resistance.

I'm pretty sure the auto down feature in our trucks is part of the switch itself, not a seperate unit like they talk about in that link. Thanks for trying though.

My wifes '07 Mustang has auto DOWN and auto UP on both windows. It is pretty nice, although I can see the auto UP being a safety concern if a kid gets his head stuck in there or something.
