High flow outlet

Can a high flow outlet be installed without removing turbo?

It shouldn't be too bad, if the bolts break loose fairly easy. If they are stubborn, you may have to remove the turbo to better attack them. Rapping on the turbine housing bolt bosses with a hammer can usually jar them loose. You would have to remove the turbo to access all of them in that case.

To properly eliminate the EBPV wouldnt you also need to replace the turbo pedestal?

It's on my to do list.

I tried to put my Turbonetics outlet on with the turbo in the truck and I couldn't do it. I had to pull the turbo. I could not get two of the bolts. I'm not saying its not possable. I just may not have had all the correct wrenches to get in there. With the new outlet I can hear the turbo out the exhaust a lot more.

I pulled the turbo for this job, but was also putting in the ebpv delete pedestal and ATS ported housing. Nice to get that leaking ebpv valve out of there. I'm in western washington so I wasnt using the warmup feature anyway. Might kick myself one day if using it as an exhaust brake is an option.
