intake?

What is the purpose of hose on the passenger side that runs up to sensor/electrical conection above heater box? Would this being unhooked cause a no start condition? Found that while checking IPR and dont want to pull valve covers and check standpipes if i just need to reasemble. Thanks

If you are referring to the rubber hose that is supposed to be connected to the brass nipple on the intake manifold, that is the MAP sensor you are referring to, that sits atop the evaporator housing. That hose being disconnected will not cause your truck to fail to start, but it most definitely will cause your truck not to have any turbo boost when you drive it.
