Lightbulb A heads up.

I learned a valuable lesson today. Anytime you disconnect and reconnect the battery in a camper make sure that you unplug the truck from the camper. I experienced a loss of lighting when we investigated we found the fuse blown. Nothing unusual, it does happen. However when we again hooked up the camper and I was checking the battery, I disconnected the battery to be able to get into the openings, when I reconnected I again blew the fuse. A friend informed me that its really common and that most people don't know about it.
Just thought that I would pass this little tid bit on. These fuses arn't cheap. I have the newer version. Oh well live and learn.

A heads up.

Was you ignition on?

My 2001 F-250 Super Duty has a relay which kills power from the truck when you turn off the key...

Question A heads up.

I was just trying to remember but I think that the truck was running. I was double checking before pulling out of a site. But to be real honest I'm not really sure. Somthing to think about. As if I needed somthing else, the brain can only hold so much material and I'm almost at overload..
