302 STARTER
I have a 79 cougar 302 c4 combo that im puting in a 49 f3. trying to make the engine compartment cleanish. was wandering if this starter would work High Torque Ford Mini PMGR Racing Starter 302 351 New | eBay.
since it has the soleniod is on the starter.
any ideas

Yes it will work. I see the seller has a not very useful, but huge application listing. The important thing with Ford starters is that there are different types for standard (three and four speeds) and automatic transmissions, the difference being how far the gear extends from the housing. The listings don't specify transmission type, but from the side view, it looks to me like the automatic trans type.
The standard trans variety has the gear barely visible when viewed from the side.
Note that it is a racing starter motor. Makes your vehicle go faster.
