There are two vent hoses on top of the fuel tank. I believe the cap is a sealed unit.

When I dropped my tank there are two vents on the top of the tank.
I removed each, cleaned and re-installed.

I'll get more precise here. When the tank is full and you're driving around, sloshing can aerate the fuel. There is a tube that goes from the front of the tank to the back of the tank to help trapped air balance out, reducing the aeration. There is a fill hose and a vent hose, they both go up to the fill spout and join there.

When I dropped my tank to do my hutch & harpoon mods I noticed the spots for the front & rear vents but there is nothing hooked to them, they were capped off. Is this right?

Unless I am wrong here, my understanding is that the fuel coming in from the return line is all that is needed to relieve any pressure imbalance. Closed loop.

So the cap is the vent
