I have a problem, installed ready remote start and it works great basic module and does everything it's suppose to do, however the bypass module that I have used is a xpresskit XK04. This module hooks up to the PATS module and is suppose to bypass it during remote start. It says I am suppose to have a A type plug but it is a B type. However looking up the diagram and reading the troubleshooting guide from the manual it is wired like an A type plug 4 pins and 1 is gnd, 2 is 12V, 3 is RX and 4 is Tx. That is how I have it hooked up. The problem is as soon as I plug the bypass module in the theft starts blinking rapidly, I wait until it stops and turn the key on and off which is suppose to program it. Then when I try to start it the PATS doesn't go solid and test out (it just blinks at its normal once every three seconds) and it won't start with the key or remotely.
The only way I get it to work is plugging in the bypass module and turning the ignition on at the same time, however then the PATS theft never blinks, but it will key start and remote start. Please let me know if anybody has had the same problem and please some sort of solution.

I believe the only way to program your system is with two keys. Turn one on then off then put the next key in (within a few seconds) and turn it on then off. Then auto start for the new one (but within 5 seconds like the key swap). I think your year should have a type 2 pats system.
You may need to reset the module and start over as well.
If module fails to program, make sure the brown wire is not getting a trickle ground from
