Door switch?

Wondering if anybody has had issues with the door switches. My driver door when opened will cause a quick "door ajar" messsage then go back to as if I closed the door. Only once have I closed the door to have the dome light stay on. Doesn't do it all the time but is more frequent with the cold weather setting in. I got the service truck next week so its a good time to bring it in for warrenty work.....

I'd check to make sure the switch is clean and dry. It sounds like there is some moisture in there. WD-40 and some dielectric grease can fix that up easy.

Indeed it has been. My dealer sprayed
some rust proofing goop in the doors so they can't blame me lol. (Not that they would-owner owes me a favor or two). Good call!
