Ok so I needed a project for my chassis fab class and my wife told me to take her truck and turn it into a street rod
76 f100 390 motor with a t18 4spd
What she wants is a streetable daily driver type deal so my initial thoughts were to box the frame give it a slight rake possible airbag conversion and throw a 9 in in the rear the big project I was thinking was a mustang 2 front end keep in mind reall the only pre fab things I can go too would be things like the airbags themselves
My question is who has done something like this what am I going to run into pictures of suspension fuel tanks and such or if you have ideas that would be nice as well
A 66-77 Bronco Roadster
2WD with a 302/C4 or a 302/T-5 manual
Frame: 3/16th steel boxing plates with dimple-died holes... see image below. They are also referred to as "speed holes".
Suspension: Front - Mustang II style using Paul Horton Welder Series components. Rear - Triangulated 4-link using an 8.8 out of an Explorer
'need to fab a trans/driveshaft tunnel.
Or a 2WD Bump/Dent crewcab with a shortbed... ala Ford's Sportrac.

Reason: 'dunno why it's attaching the third photo.. I'm not privileged to do attachments. Your guess is as good as mine.
I like some of your ideas I had played around with using an explorer rear end but both my wife and I prefer something solid in the rear so I was thinking the fab 9 with a fourlink that frame piece don't look too bad gives me a couple ideas definitely going to try to go with the mustang 2 front
What about adding a Crown Vic front suspension? Inependent front suspension, rack and pinion steering and several inches lower.
