Anyone using this glow plug relay?

Hello,

I'm looking around for a new gpr and came across this one on ebay. (scroll a bit down the page to see difference with original ford relay)

He claims to have sold 4000 with no returns or complaints while giving 3 years of warranty. If he did sell 4000 already, there must be at least some here that have one.

If you do have this one: is it as good as he claims it is?

In fact, I'm already too late to ask because I already ordered one, but still would like to know your thoughts.

Thanks for the info,
Mark

Happy Newyear by the way.

I'm not using one of those, but it honestly looks like an OEM relay or maybe a Napa 109, with a manual bypass.

The Stancor, seems to be a much larger capacity unit, and is quite popular around here...

Welcome to guzzle's Stancor GPR replacement Mod Web Page

You can add a manual deactivation switch or momentary activation switch if you wanted, and if you chose to I could tell you how I would do it, or offer a thread with some instructions.

But overall for the price(not too bad really), it will likely serve you well, just as well, as the GPR109 from NAPA has served many too, and they are around $30.

Thanks for your info, but I really would like to hear from people who do have this one.

I will use a stancor if this one fails.

Thanks again,
Mark

I have been using it for 3 or 4 years. No problems.
But for the money, I would go with the Stancor today.
