Glow Plug Relay
2002 psd 7.3 after testing my glow plug relay this cold am It appears its no good. Has any one done the Guzzle up grade, the stancor unit?? If so how long has it been in the truck. I have a 166k on my motor and was told stronger parts may start to burn out weaker ones,,just curiuos thanks,need to order something this am...should I go with original or aftermarket????

A relay is a relay as far as how it works. There is no way that a Stancor relay is going to burn out anything in the GP system. It will transfer the 12V to the glow plugs just like an OEM one. The difference is that the components are built a bit heavier and they will last longer.

Just recieved my Stancor relay yesterday. From the guzzle site write up.. From what i hear, that is what i went with. By the looks of it (that thing is huge) it will never wear out. In my opinion that is the way to go. Put it in and forget about it. Worth every penny. Looks well built.
I put two stock ones and i think those are junk. Fagile and cheap. Go with the stancor. IMO
