2005 F-150

So I am the original owner bought in 2004 fx4 package with the 5.4 triton

Around 60k miles and several years ago (probably 2008) I had the oil changed and all of a sudden it started choking out when I would come to a stop light. Took it to the dealer could not find anything wrong.

This has continued ever since so at the shops advice I didnt change my oil as often and everything run fine

Now at around 170k miles christmas eve on my way over to my parents house to pick up a kitchen for my 6 year old santa had put together there it died.

Took it to the shop and apparently the cam shaft went through the cam sensor or something like that. Said I needed a new engine

I have found Jasper and a couple others that come with a 100k mile warranty. My question is do those include labor and parts if it fails or just parts?

Also just curious if anyone has had a problem after oil changes like that

You'll have to go Jasper's website for specifics to their warranty policy. Most remanufacturers pay for some, but not all labor costs should their engine fail. I can't speak for Jasper relative to their warranty policy, but I can attest to the fact that they put out a good product. You'll rarely have a problem with one of their engines or transmissions.
