Last year some time in the late fall/early winter, my wife and i decided we were fed up with how California was being governed/taxed/maintained......Did a little research and decided southern Oregon seemed like a good fit for us. Decided that climate wise( both weather and political) Grants Pass or its outlying areas sounded pretty much perfect, made an appointment to meet with a local realtor who specialized in horse properties. We found a 1906 Victorian farmhouse on 3 acres less than 1/2 mile from the Rogue river, about halfway between Grants Pass and Merlin. We closed escrow late February, and started the long process of moving all our stuff up from Petaluma, Ca. Mid June the Ca house was sold, and we got the last load of junk up here! We have our 4 horses in our pasture, my wife has her old farmhouse, and ive got both 3 and 4 car garages, with the 3 car set up as a shop. Im close by to good fishing, ive been building a few AR-15 Rifles, and ive purchased 2 F250 Highboys since ive been here. We love it up here, its truly paradise!

Welcome to paradise and to the FTE site. I also run a 76 F250 Hi-boy, yours looks like a great one!!
Good evening everyone. Just a quick fly by. Have to run into town and take my new chain saw back for a trade off. Silly thing fell apart after about only 20 minutes and 1/4 tank of gas.
Been out at the farm cutting wood all afternoon. Had to use dad's chain saw. I am remembering now why I put a pellet stove in! If my BIL decides to get into another wreck, he better do it after they have their winter wood supply in.

Morning Don and all that follow. Well I put in a rebuilt steering rack on the black SHO and after driving it this last week; it feels like it is loose and moving back and forth on the bolts. So that is what I will be working on today..
