Good afternoon all. Just back from the county courthouse. Grab some lunch and then take Duchess the cat to the vet to get her neck sewn up.

More like a minimum of a 2 company conspiracy group - both out of state, using a well intentioned law, to fire a shotgun into the crowd........................that's why I'm preparing a request for investigation and complaint for the AG's office. These jerks could have been a little more convincing if they hadn't used a paid off bill from an entirely different in state company and gotten the address and my MIL's and wife's name correct. I just got back from the county records office. The title papers have everything spelled correctly and have the correct "situs" address! They also have no records of any recent (7 year history) of a title or lien search. So whatever title search the primary mailer did, it was bogus or a complete fraud. (County has tax records & plat maps on the county web site, but due to objections of many LEO's and some others, the owner field only lists "resident".)
Reminds me of an article that was in the local newspaper not too long ago about these dumb "fired" and disbarred attorney's and others. They form a credit collection company, buy up old debts at penny's on the dollar and then try to lie, bluff and buffalo someone into paying them off. Whether these bills are legit or not. Most of the time they do not have the legal paperwork that is required. When they don't get any results, they file small claims actions. A lot of these people ignore it, don't go to court and end up with a default judgment against them for a bill that was paid off or not valid to begin with or beyond the statute of limitations.
Mornin' all........
Thanks, Charlie!...........I still think I could yank the motor in my old Ranger faster than I could dig that valve cover out, I might have missed it, do you have to pull the upper intake manifold?
As much as it leaks (which is very little) this is gonna be a back burner, the only reason I even ask is that the wife says she occasionally smells it when a drop gets on the exhaust manifold, it never leaks a drop on the shop floor though.
You only have the intake. The upper portion is all plastic, and yes, It has to come off
When I did both valve covers last year, it took me 5 hrs.
Mine came from some baboon changing the valve cover gaskets, and not cleaning all the old gasket off the head.
Can you say pour out the oil?
Good evening everyone. Home from the farm. Folks are getting over their cold bug, their dog doesn't think she has been played with enough and the horses - well they are still burning hay and making deposits.
